Painting - India Ink Rolled And Drawn On Paper
Description
This one originally drawn for a friends play, Passages, or Phases, only readings, but the drawing is with the playwright. Much of the detail is strangely rolled on imagery as it turns out, what drawing added to bring out the patterns. I often use different brayers or rollers in my paintings, so why not in illustrations and drawings.

In some of this, the "drawing" is found image from the roller patterns thru the ink as applied by wall paper seamer, brayer, then detail brought out with ink and pen, or brush. I love working with ink, aspired to be a cartoonist, so this combination of printmaking application, brush work and pen is a lot of fun to see and know what was intended, what simply appeared.
