Jim, thanks for your reply... are you saying that I can get the 11 x 14 size with no problem? I need it for the end of November. Still possible?
James Christiansen replied:
According to Dawn, from FAA print quality dept, that size prints fine with the new image posted. She's the boss when it comes to image release, but that was max size she suggested to me to list with pricing.

Jim, I'm disappointed that my order for this print was not possible. I was happy that a had found a perfect gift for a friend of mine. :(
James Christiansen replied:
I'm sorry too, as hadn't seen that the resolution, when accepted in submission, wasn't good at the far end of that scale when first posted. My owner of the Original often in Modesto, but lives in Sonora, and in time allowed, couldn't get me large enough pixel resolution by email, and advised the current photo works, but not in the larger, near size of original format you ordered, and I had hoped to have delivered. I'm asking Jeneveh to send me a new photo in larger format, high resolution over the weekend, but for now the 11 x 14 sizing is the largest that meets FAA standard for print. I"ve had friends get the finished print standard from FAA, happy with it. If I still had the original, I could have made the print deadline in time. FAA likes to ship within 48 hours of order.

In to edit, as the revised image photo only allows for a 14 x 11 print size, vs what had been ordered with the photo that blurred at that size. Sorry for inconvenience.
James Christiansen
image substituted from original owner Jen Coffey. One thing when you order, you find Dawn is very good in getting back to you on any image issues before printing the order.

the piece with the varnish and paint drying, still has some gloss to it, but had several months catching dust in show in Boulder Creek, California, and now in the possession of artist Jen Coffey of Sonora.

James, Reminds me of "El Dia de Los Muertos" images that I have seen. Of course, you are the one and only YOU and have great creativity that is like nobody else. Fascinating image....
James Christiansen replied:
Los Muertos and New Orleans dixieland funerals, the inspiration for this one, and I know a lot of deadheads.

Its still wet, likely take this week to finish drying based on other recent ones in series. Thanks for the comment. I've yet to get to the Big Easy but hope to

Well it's beautiful. I often paint with glossy mediums so I understand, I would love to see the piece in matte (I am assuming that is how it dried) Anyway, it reminds me of my favorite place in the country...New Orleans!
