About James Christiansen
Jim Christiansen is an award winning artist working out of Modesto, California. Originally from Riverside California, Jim has been a published cartoonist, illustrator, painter and freelance flake dabbling in other media. An award winner in watercolors, Jim has participated in numerous group and solo shows over past forty years. Solo shows include the University of California, Riverside Alumni Center, California Institute of Mental Health. A part of Stanislaus County Artist Open Studio, Jim has been featured regionally at Watts/Upstream Wines, Mistlin Gallery, Chartreuse Muse, Lodi City Hall Art Walk and California Institute of Mental Health and shown at Gallery Red, Las Vegas and show at the Degas Gallery in New Orleans.
